Stock Market Predictions for the fortnight beginning 15th April 2009

Stock market trends and planetary movements
This fortnight does not look hopeful. There will be a lot of fluctuation ending on a flat note. There will be poor inflows from FIIs. There may be increased activity in the stocks of FMCGs, Infrastructure, Steel, Cement and Banking sectors. Petroleum and Mass communication may also flourish. Chemicals, IT, Pharma and Public sectors will pull down the index.

Be careful as this sector will not perform well. There will be disappointment from this sector.TelecomThere will be some positive developments and a healthy trend. A dependable sector.

Entertainment and Mass Media
This sector will do well, too. There will be a revival of sorts.Cement and SteelThis sector will perform reasonably well.

There will a moderate and consistent growth in this sector.

Textiles
This sector will remain flat; infact, on the whole there may negative growth.

Automobiles
There will be a lot of fluctuation with a marginal growth at the end of the fortnight.

Petroleum
Though there may not be any fall, there may not be much growth either.

Chemicals & Pharma
There will be much fluctuation. This is not a very dependable sector to invest in.
